TESTIMONIALS
Kamille Bergquist (2022)
“"The connection to the land, the physical exertion of the hike, the palpability of the traditional songs and Blackfeet histories were an experience I will cherish forever! Our group (Montana Youth Challenge Academy) spent the day with Lailani and Titus and though we began the adventure as strangers, the experience quickly developed new connections and friendships. As the sun set on another beautiful fall day we descended the mistakis; our minds brimming with new understandings and knowledge of the land and a different perspective of the history endured by its people. We experienced firsthand the power of oral histories and their much needed role in all of our lives, especially the lives of youth. I would encourage anyone with a passion for the outdoors and a hunger for new perspectives, to join Iron Shield Creative for an epic outdoor experience.”
Alex Hanich (2021)
“This workshop was so amazing. Being outside of Glacier National Park, it’s so important to get these stories from the people here, and a narrative every person that visits Glacier should know. ”
